This years's AGM

Just a quick  word of thanks to the committee for an excellent meeting at Staverton Park. I am bound to say the program and meeting generally were of a very high standard and on a personal note, it was fantastic to be able to enjoy the meeting from the "other side" for a change! Lots of thanks to all involved for another very successful meeting. Best wishes to Gordon and many thanks to Andy for their huge contributions over the years.

John.

Hi all,

I would just like to echo John's comments above and express how informative and interesting I personally found the presentations to be from all the speakers who participated in the sessions throughout Thursday.

I do apologise on behalf of the afternoon sessions chair, for his lacklustre performance, but I have it on very good authority that this was the first time he had performed in such a role and although he was quite apprehensive at the beginning, actually found the challenge to be enjoyable overall. I understand that he was working on the assumption that if his performance was dire, then the chances of being asked to do so again would be greatly reduced :-)

As always, the contribution towards the exhibition from our commercial partners was fantastic and again demonstrates the quality and proffessional approach taken by all who put the time and resources into attending such an event.

Well done ART once again for making it such an enjoyable experience, just a shame I could only attend the one day.

Danny.

Hi

I couldn't agree more. A really interesting day and a half and thanks to all of the speakers, chairs, organisers and comercial partners. I'd like to thank Gordon for all of his work down the years - really last week would never have happened without his dedication. Finally a big thank you to Richard Furminger for the exhibition of old equipment - it was great to see the Dylade there.

Hi

I wholeheartedly agree with all of the comments. Gordon is definitely going to be a very hard act to follow and I also believe that this years programme has set a new bench mark in terms of quality, content and relevance.

As in Gareth's post a big thank you to Richard for the exhibition and thanks must also go to Paddy Hartley for providing storage for the musuem exhibits.

Looking forward to ART 2K9 already.

Regards,

Roger.
