Dear ART Membership

I was recently invited to become a member of the BRS 2009 programme committee, which is being co-chaired by Lisa Burnapp and our very own ART President Chris McIntyre.
I attended the first meeting on 21st September and it was at this meeting that Lisa Burnapp offered a 1 1/4 hour session on the morning of the 2nd June for technicians/technical issues.
This offer was taken to the ART comm meeting held on 9th October and the comm agreed to accept the offer and canvas the ART membership for suggestions for topics and/or speakers (detailed in comm minutes which will be avaialble shortly), hence this posting on the website.

Lisa herself put forward a few suggestions for topics such as; CPD, registration and workforce planning/development. These are only suggestions and we are free to suggest alternatives.

This is your opportunity to suggest topics and/or speakers and I urge you to give this consideration and have your say.

We should always make the most of opportunities such as this but even more so in this instance considering the fact that Chris McIntyre is co-chair.

For those who are not aware BRS 2009 is being held in Birmingham, the first announcement should be mailed out shortly.
